Responsibilities*

 
  • Bone & Soft Tissue pathology service  
  • Weekly Multidisciplinary Conference
  • Sign out cases
  • You will play a key role in educating medical students, residents, and fellows specializing in bone and soft tissue pathology, general surgical pathology and radiology
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent diagnostic and communication skills
  • Scholarly work is required
  • Ample opportunities to engage in original research and collaborate with clinical colleagues are available.

     

Required Qualifications*

 

Candidates must have an M.D. or D.O. and be board-certified in anatomic pathology by the American Board of Pathology.

Background Screening

 

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
