The Michigan Center for Respiratory Virus Research and Response and the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health are seeking an experienced, highly organized and motivated project assistant to join our dynamic team. The Center has a large portfolio of respiratory virus research studies in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control Control, the National Institutes of Health, and the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health examining vaccine effectiveness for influenza and COVID-19 vaccines and identifying respiratory virus response in community settings.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team and assist with the implementation of research studies with meaningful outcomes. This is a full-time research coordinator position working in the Center under the direction of Center leadership, Dr. Emily Martin and Dr. Arnold Monto. The ideal candidate will work independently and as part of a team to assist Center Project Managers in implementing multiple research studies. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working on public health research projects, including enrolling participants and obtaining informed consent, and familiarity with working in a research setting.
