Project Leadership and Strategic Oversight
- Oversee the delivery of multiple interrelated projects, ensuring alignment with BMC2 strategic goals, program implementation milestones, stakeholder needs, accessibility, and quality improvement priorities.
- Coordinate integration of work performed by external partners, vendors, consultants, or affiliated organizations, when applicable.
- Monitor relevant project or departmental budgets in partnership with BMC2 leadership and administrative staff.
BMC2-HF Engagement Strategy
- Develop engagement approaches that meet stakeholders where they are and reflect what they value.
- Lead the development of role-specific educational campaigns, workflow handouts, implementation tools, presentations, reports, infographics, and other stakeholder-facing deliverables.
- Position the program as a practical tool that supports evidence-based care delivery, guideline-directed medical therapy, continuous improvement, and better patient outcomes.
Patient and Community Engagement
- Lead patient and community engagement projects that support trust-building, inclusive participation, and improved care delivery.
- Ensure that patient and caregiver advisors serve as active stakeholders in program implementation, patient-facing communications, and improvement priorities.
- Coordinate with population health CQIs, MSHIELD, and other partners to connect patients with resources related to social drivers of health.
BMC2 Consortium-Wide Engagement and Communications Strategy
- Develop and lead integrated communication plans that support BMC2?s quality improvement mission, statewide impact, clinical priorities, patient-centered initiatives, and value to participating sites and partners.
- Ensure all communications are accurate, accessible, and appropriate for audiences with varying levels of clinical, technical, and health literacy expertise.
- Oversee development of executive-ready content, including translating complex program data, quality improvement findings, clinical priorities, and program outcomes into clear, compelling, audience-specific communications.
Partner, Payer, and Executive Communications
- Lead development of partner-facing communications that demonstrate the value, credibility, and impact of BMC2 and BMC2-HF.
- Support disciplined reporting to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and other key stakeholders.
- Elevate social impact initiatives as a core component of the BMC2-HF partnership, particularly work that reduces barriers to evidence-based care and supports higher-risk populations.
Staff Supervision and Resource Coordination
- Supervise the BMC2 engagement team employees, including staff focused on patient engagement, community engagement, communications, or related program activities.
- Assign work, establish priorities, monitor performance, and support staff development.
- Facilitate team meetings, project check-ins, and cross-functional workgroups.
