Responsibilities*

 

The Department of Urology seeks to fill a two-year Clinical Lecturer advanced training position (start date of July 1, 2027) in the Division of Endourology. Practice will be primarily at University Hospital (up to one day of clinic per week) with operative privileges to perform endoscopic stone management. This position will be under the mentorship of Drs. Casey Dauw, Khurshid Ghani, Will Roberts and Sapan Ambani. The selected candidate may also be credentialed to perform endourologic surgery at Chelsea Hospital for several operative days per week under the supervision of Dr. Dauw.

Required Qualifications*

 

The selected candidate must have an MD or DO degree, or equivalent, and be board certified or board-eligible. Successful applicants will have completed urology residency before July 2027. The candidate must hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the state of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence is expected. Evidence of scholarly activity (publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at national meetings, experience in quality improvement initiatives, etc.) is also expected.
