N480 Population Health PNE
During this clinical course, students will demonstrate leadership in organizations, systems, and populations as a team member and coordinator of health care. Students will practice within an ethical framework at the community and systems levels in their work with vulnerable and diverse populations. They will have the opportunity to reflect on their own values and beliefs. Principles emphasized in the course include advocacy, integrity, accountability in practice and leadership, inclusiveness, respect, and social justice using evidence-based strategies. Students will examine the influence of nursing on the health of populations with consideration for how socio-economic and physical environments affect care.
The School of Nursing (UMSN), Undergraduate Program is recruiting nursing professional(s) with experience in the area of Population Health nursing to teach clinical sections of N480 Population Health (3 credits, 25% effort or 6 credits, 50% effort). Clinical sites are located in the greater Ann Arbor Area.
NOTE: This appointment is for Fall term, 2026 monthly.
