Responsibilities*

 

The School of Music, Theatre & Dance seeks qualified applicants for an Adjunct lecturer position to co-direct the University of Michigan Percussion Ensemble during the 2026-2027 academic year. Students in the ensemble include undergraduate and graduate percussion majors who perform contemporary percussion repertoire and collaborate with lecturer on new creative projects.

Desired Qualifications*

 

The successful candidate should have previous university-level experience coaching percussion ensembles, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to curate repertoire appropriate for the ensemble.

The candidate will work closely with the SMTD Percussion Faculty and the SMTD Concerts and Events team.

Modes of Work
