The Michigan Public Health - Substance Use Policy and Economic Research (M-SUPER) Network at the University of Michigan School of Public Health is seeking an independent and motivated full-time statistician at the senior level. This is a three (3)-year term-limited appointment with the possibility of renewal contingent upon performance and funding. The ideal candidate for this position will collaborate closely with faculty investigators and research staff to construct analytic cohorts, develop claims-based measures, conduct statistical analyses, and contribute to manuscripts, reports, and grant applications.
The M-SUPER Network is an interdisciplinary, interinstitutional consortium of faculty, investigators, and trainees. It is led by Dr. Thuy Nguyen who serves as the director of the M-SUPER Network and Associate Professor of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. The Network members employ rigorous quantitative approaches and leverages access to multiple large databases to address pressing substance use policy knowledge gaps.
