Responsibilities*

 
  • Manage advanced MiChart responsibilities, including maintaining MiChart grids and supporting complex scheduling workflows.

     

  • Serve as template editor, including processing provider template submissions and template changes.
  • Coordinate faculty schedules and maintain resident staffing schedules.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and detailed scheduling requirements for provider templates.
  • Run MiChart reports and analyze data as needed to support clinic operations.
  • Function as a high-level scheduler with the ability to make complex scheduling decisions and coordinate schedules across departments.
  • Serve as the clinic lead for room allocation, including urgent and routine add-on clinics.
  • Provide backup support to the referral coordinator/billing representative.
  • Provide backup support for the form's completion process.
  • Provide backup support to patient service assistants as needed.

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Graduation from high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience

     

Desired Qualifications*

 
  • 3 or more years of customer service experience within a medical environment
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology
  • Prior experience performing complex scheduling
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team setting
  • Communicates effectively
  • Demonstrates active listening, written, verbal and information technology skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary clinical setting. 
  • Demonstrated excellent attendance
