To work as part of a team to assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of clinical pharmacy services in Solid Organ Transplant in both the inpatient and outpatient setting; to ensure and promote the safe, rational, efficacious, and cost-effective use of drug therapy; to provide leadership for Solid Organ Transplant services including developing guidelines and policies, staff training activities, developing quality improvement processes, and to assist in the clinical training of staff, residents and students.
This will be a full-time, day shift (rotating weekends) position. This position is designed with a focus on abdominal transplant with split inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Additionally, this solid organ transplant pharmacist will cover lung transplant patients depending on cross-coverage needs.
