The University of Michigan-Flint's Intercultural Center (ICC) is a welcoming space for all students that centers on the needs and experiences of people of color and other marginalized people within its walls and throughout campus. Interns will support the ICC by developing, organizing, and implementing programming that fosters social justice, multicultural awareness, and inclusive campus engagement. Working collaboratively with ICC professional staff and fellow interns, interns will help plan signature events such as the Intercultural Cookout, Intercultural Cafe, and Dine and Dialogue series. Responsibilities include creating proposals for multicultural programs, facilitating diversity workshops, engaging in campus outreach, and promoting ICC initiatives at major university events. Applicants should be full-time UM-Flint students in good academic standing who are passionate about social justice.
