Responsibilities*

 

As a faculty member this position will be expected to participate in writing grants for submission to the National Institutes of Health aimed at providing resources for these endeavors, writing scientific papers, as well as participate in the supervision of laboratory technicians, post-doctoral fellows and other learners.  

Required Qualifications*

 

Successful candidate must have outstanding research training with 5 years of progressive experience in a laboratory setting, a PhD, MD or combined degrees with 5 years postdoctoral training, a well-defined research direction with an outstanding publication record that is commensurate with the level of training and the critical elements of teaching (e.g., knowledge of subject matter, skill in presentation, enthusiastic approach).

Background Screening
