Summary
The Department of Social Sciences, University of Michigan-Dearborn seeks a part-time Lecturer to teach Political Science 375 Great Powers Comp and Conflict, up to a 33.33% effort in the Fall 2026 semester. The class is scheduled to run as an asynchronous online course.
Political Science 375 Great Powers is an upper-level undergraduate course. The course focuses on the foreign policies of major international powers, such as China, Russia, and the Western European democracies. Attention is also paid to the causes of the rise and decline of major powers.
This is a one-semester non-tenured LEO Lecture I appointment, with no presumption of renewal. The Fall 2026 semester runs August 25, 2026 through December 31, 2026.
