Job Summary

 

The Voice/Vision Holocaust Survivor Oral History Archive seeks a motivated and detail-oriented

student research assistant to support ongoing research, outreach, and public engagement

related to the history and impact of the archive. This position is ideal for a student

interested in Holocaust studies, oral history, archival research, public history, Jewish studies,

history, museum studies, communications, or related fields. 

Responsibilities*

 

 The student will conduct research on the development, mission, collections, and significance of the archive, with the goal of producing

publishable materials that document and share its history with scholarly and public audiences. In addition to research and writing, the student will assist with planning and implementing

archive-related events, publicity, and outreach initiatives. The student will also assist with the the Annual Consortium meeting in June.

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Detail-oriented
  • Prior research experience
  • Prior outreach and public engagement experience
  • The ability to produce 

    publishable materials that document and share its history with scholarly and public audiences.

  • The ability to plan and implement

     events, publicity, and outreach initiatives 

     

  • Interested in Holocaust studies, oral history, archival research, public history, Jewish studies, 

    history, museum studies, communications, or related fields
