The core responsibilities of AI&DHI Product Managers can be grouped into the following categories:
Product Definition and Design:
Define what a product does and the impact it can have on AI and digital health research. This includes developing Product Requirements Documents and Use Cases that capture product vision, target market, feature descriptions, and feature prioritization. Product Managers are also responsible for the end-to-end user experience (UX) of their products ensuring our tools are intuitive, effective, and designed with the researcher in mind.
Project Management:
Lead cross-functional teams spanning Data and AI Engineering, Network Administration, Pre-Clinical Labs, Clinical Research, Marketing, and Innovation Partnerships to deliver tools and platforms on time and on budget. Responsibilities include building project timelines, tracking progress, identifying critical paths, communicating status to leadership, and maintaining a project dashboard that gives leadership an at-a-glance view of all active research initiatives.
Product Marketing:
Clearly communicate product benefits, features, and target markets to internal teams and leadership. Conduct market research to inform business cases, product strategy, and requirements documentation, and identify opportunities to maximize the impact of our products.
Additional responsibilities include:
Owning projects from concept through delivery
Collaborate with the team to prototype applications and tools
Actively participate in team discussions and decisions we rely on each other and hold each other accountable
Report product updates, milestones, and opportunities to leadership
Determine and document requirements
