We are seeking a highly motivated professional, with strong interpersonal skills, to serve as a Community Engagement Liaison in the Department of Psychiatry. In this role, you will work directly with clinicians, behavioral health clinics, community organizations, and internal teams to facilitate partnerships, advance care strategies, and lead education and training efforts that improve outcomes for individuals with substance use disorders (SUD).
This position is embedded within the U-M Addiction Centers MI-ACRE program (https://miacre.medicine.umich.edu/), which focuses on accelerating the implementation of innovative, scalable approaches to SUD treatment through partnerships with health systems, community organizations, and policymakers.
The Community Engagement Liaison position is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of community engagement and innovative research to improve SUD care services throughout the State of Michigan.
