Overview
In collaboration with dyad physician partners, the Cardiovascular Service Line Administrative Leader has responsibility for advancing the design, implementation, alignment, and performance of UM Health's Cardiovascular (CV) Service Line, and for leading system-level strategic, clinical/programmatic, and operational initiatives across the continuum of care inclusive of UMH Academic Medical Center and UMH Regional Health System including UMH Sparrow, and UMH West.
Leadership of the Cardiovascular Service Line at UM Health will be vested in a triad leadership team consisting of two physicians and an administrative lead.

Job Summary
In partnership with the Cardiovascular Service Line Physician Directors, the Cardiovascular Service Line Administrator has responsibility for all administrative aspects of the Cardiovascular Service Line across University-Michigan Health. The Service Line Administrator is responsible for administrative activities including quality and financial performance and strategic growth in partnership with a physician dyad partner. Reporting to the Chief Nursing and Operations Executive at Michigan Medicine, and with a dotted line to the President, UMH Regional Health System, this leader will:
- Develop strategy to optimize clinical operations, quality, and finance to achieve excellence in all aspects of the service line.
- Partner with clinical and operational leadership to deliver high-quality, patient-centered programs and services that support institutional goals in coordinated care delivery.
- Oversee strategic growth of the UMH Cardiovascular service line across all geographies in partnership with AMC Clinical Department, Regional and AMC Clinical Operations leaders, aligning Cardiovascular priorities with enterprise-wide strategies.
- Drive growth and innovation by identifying and connecting key stakeholders to evaluate new service offerings, technologies, and market opportunities across the system.
- Engage and coordinate execution of service line priorities with operations leads at each site to achieve service line performance targets.
