Responsibilities*

 
  • Upgrade and maintenance of two high fidelity vacuum chambers at the Plasmadynamics and Electric Propulsion Laboratory.
  • Testing support for electric propulsion system under USSF and DARPA programs
  • Conducting independent engineering and research projects
  • Design and fabrication of electric propulsion hardware

Required Qualifications*

 
  • B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics
  • Funding source requires U.S. citizenship
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in electric propulsion laboratory is preferred

Modes of Work

Additional Information

 

This is a 100% effort (40 hours per week) one year term limited position with possibility to extend contingent upon funding availability.
