Job Summary

 

The Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan invites applicants for a part-time LEO Lecturer I position in Finance, beginning Fall 2026 (8/25/2026) and ending Winter 2027 (72 hours after the last day of the term). This position is expected to be 45% effort. The expected offer date is by May 30, 2026.

Responsibilities*

 

Candidates will be expected to teach courses in introductory finance at the undergraduate level and capital markets and investments at the graduate level.

Required Qualifications*

 

A PhD in Finance is required. 

 

Candidates must have experience in teaching finance courses and a demonstrated record of teaching excellence in this area. They must have the ability and motivation to engage in innovative teaching both individually and in a team setting. 

Modes of Work

Union Affiliation

 

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
