Job Summary

 

Primary responsibility will be for the clinical care of all patients in the Neurocritical Care Unit (NCCU) and performing neurocritical care consults in the other ICUs. The candidate will evaluate and care for neurosurgery and neurology patients in the general care units suffering acute clinical decompensation and will also be required to provide telemedicine consultations to patients at our affiliate hospitals. These affiliate hospitals may include University of Michigan Health West, MyMichigan system, Munson Medical Center and Chelsea Hospital. This position is at University of Michigan Health Sparrow in Lansing, Michigan

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Applicants should have an M.D.
  • Hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence is expected. Preferred candidate will possess the critical elements of teaching(knowledge of subject matter, skill in presentation, enthusiastic approach, integrity etc.)

Background Screening
