The University of Michigan Towsley Children's House has an opening for a Child Care Center Teacher. We are seeking an educator who chose a career in early childhood education because of the positive, lasting impacts their work has on children and families.
The U-M Children's Centers provide care for close to 500 children of faculty, staff and students from all over the world. The centers employ over 120 staff members. The play based programs are designed by teaching teams adapting to meet the needs and interests of the children. We maintain low teacher to child ratios so relationships can flourish. Additional information about the U-M Children's Centers can be found at www.childcare.umich.edu.
As a teacher in our program, you will work with children, families and coworkers from diverse backgrounds, cultures and abilities. You will grow in your profession through regular professional development opportunities and will share your unique experiences and creativity while collaborating with coworkers. Teaching staff report directly to the center Director.
