Job Summary

 

The College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan-Dearborn seeks to hire a highly motivated individual for the temporary position of ESIEA Program Assistant, who will work under the direct supervision of Dr. Khalid Kattan. This individual will provide administrative support to the program coordinator for a study-abroad program hosting international students from the L'Ecole Superieure d'Informatique Automatique for a 9-week program (June 2 - July 30). The anticipated end date of this position is July 30, 2026. The chosen candidate must have open availability on May 31-June 2, and July 30 to support program events.

Responsibilities*

 
  • Provide administrative support for the CECS ESIEA program
  • Assist in planning, organization, and execution of events
  • Maintain confidentiality as required by university and FERPA regulations
  • Participate in scheduled meetings, trainings, and other duties as assigned
  • Conduct short interviews with participants and help create and edit program videos

Required Qualifications*

 
  • A current UM-Dearborn student
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities, handle multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Proven ability to pay attention to detail and follow through.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maximum collaboration in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Basic video editing experience
