Responsibilities*

 

Organize and manage projects related to day-to-day operations of the Center for Basic and Translational Science in the Department of Surgery. 

  • Organization of bi-weekly meetings
  • Arranging visiting speakers
  • Administering semi-annual grants including collecting information, arranging review and announcing results
  • Ccoordinating workshops and conferences

Manage projects related to grants held in the Rogel and Blondy Center for Pancreatic Cancer. 

  • Collection of data needed for NIH for annual reports and ensuring with guideline compliance
  • Collate grants and publications generated from the Center for donor and stakeholder annual reports
  • Work with various department's grants offices to ensure seamless completion of research performance project reports and assist completion of documentation needed for future grant applications
  • Work directly with the Large Grant Resources and Services Team for an upcoming P01 submission; perform editorial duties to ensure cohesive language and subject throughout the grant.

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Bachelor degree and two to four years related experience
  • Formal grant management experience and editorial training

Background Screening
