A Bachelor's degree in biostatistics, statistics, data management, or a related field is required; a Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, data management, or a related field is preferred.
One (1) to three (3) years of professional statistical work experience.
Experience with community engaged research methodologies including rapid qualitative analysis and evaluation reports.
Knowledge of statistical software (i.e., SPSS, Stata, SAS, R) is required.
- Candidate must have excellent teamwork and superior oral and written communication skills, with the ability to receive and convey information clearly and concisely for various mediums.
- Excellent computer skills, including expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
Proven analytical skills and follow-through; a high degree of creativity, initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to anticipate needs.
Demonstrated excellent problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently as well as effectively in teams; must have the ability to work comfortably with individuals at all levels.
Able to contribute expertise on data related topics with faculty and staff in collaborative teams.
Must reliably manage responsibilities and manage time effectively.
