The University of Michigan School of Nursing is seeking a highly qualified Research Investigator for a full-time, term-limited position with the Department of Systems, Populations and Leadership.
Work/job responsibilities during the course of the appointment will include:
- Lead and manage a program of research on gender-based violence, reproductive health, and health equity.
- Advance an independent program of research by developing manuscripts, preparing grant proposals, and building collaborations aligning with a well-defined research agenda.
- Publish peer-reviewed scholarship and present findings at national and/or international meetings.
- Build and sustain interdisciplinary collaborations across UMSN, Michigan Medicine, and the University of Michigan.
- Provide scientific and operational support on externally funded studies.
- Design and implement mixed-methods research studies.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis and communicate findings through reports and summaries.
