Responsibilities*

 

The role will include, but not be limited to, working with a multidisciplinary clinical and administrative team to support delegated calls, complete patient required forms, proficiently start IVs, injections, medication refills, assist with in basket management, lab monitoring/tracking and other delegated functions.
 

  • Must be an active team player with the ability to work independently
  • Possess strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have proficiency using and documenting in an electronic medical record
  • Must have demonstrated problem solving skills

Required Qualifications*

 

?    Current licensure as an LPN in the State of Michigan.
?    Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing 
?    Two (2) years or more of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic/ambulatory care setting.

Desired Qualifications*

 

?    Experience in an Ambulatory Clinic Setting
?    Experience with giving injections
?    Ability to start and remove peripheral IV?s
?    Experience with an electronic medical record
?    Experience with FMLA and other paperwork tasks
?    Proficiency with computer skills including keyboarding
?    Experience in working with a hematology or oncology patient population

Work Schedule

 

Hours/Week: 

  • Full time 40 hours per week.

Shift/Hours/Days: 

  • Day Shift; Monday-Friday, may include Saturdays/Sundays/Holidays in the future if clinic hours expand
  • Hours may be variable (based on patient and volume needs)

Location: 

  • Rogel Cancer Center ? Ann Arbor with potential to work in other locations with expansion of division.
