The Hicks Lab in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is seeking a motivated and organized individual for an enriching work experience on a study involving cornea ulcers and social risk factors. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical data abstraction, working remotely with visually impaired participants, and a desire to gain expertise in both psychology and ophthalmology aspects of the project, in addition to a willingness to learn skills that extend to new projects as they come.
The assistant will gain experience working on health equity research, data sources, interviews, and EHR. The student will also be part of a large clinical study research team.
