The Seo Lab has NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow positions to study molecular mechanisms of chronic inflammatory diseases (e.g., inflammatory bowel disease or metabolic disorders).
We study questions at multiple levels using genetically modified mouse models, preclinical mouse models, primary organoids, single-cell RNA-seq, proteomics, lipidomics, metallomics, standard molecular biology/cell biology techniques, and pathology/imaging.

The Seo Lab is located in the University of Michigan School of Public Health, within a 5-minute walk of the Medical School and in the central campus of the University of Michigan. The Seo Lab is also affiliated with the Neuroscience Graduate Program (NGP) at UM Medical School, providing a highly supportive and diverse research environment and excellent career development opportunities for postdoctoral fellows.
Through independent project leadership and close mentoring, fellows strengthen skills in study design, execution, and manuscript/presentation development. We actively support high-impact publications, conference presentations, and fellowship/career award applications.
