Principal Duties:
Provide social work leadership and professional expertise to lead the Regional Alliance for Healthy Schools Social Workers. Responsibilities also include clinical supervision, case consultation, RAHS mental health program management, personnel management to support excellent social work services to patients and their families in clinical areas as assigned. Responsibilities will also include the provision of direct patient care in the absence of staffing. Assure compliance with regulatory agencies, University and Health System policies and procedures. Exercise considerable independent decision-making authority and expertise. Recruit, select, hire, orient and train, and evaluate staff. Primary activities and decision-making authority are predominantly performed independently. Analyze, compare, and evaluate data from a variety of sources, and undertake various courses of action with the authority to make independent recommendations on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Participate in and contribute to projects and initiatives of the departmental clinical management group.
Supervision Received:
General supervision is received from RAHS Director and other program leadership including consultation with RAHS Medical Directors, Associate Director of Community Health Services as needed.
Supervision Exercised:
Functional and administrative supervision, orientation and mentorship are provided for Supervisors and Clinical Social Workers.
