• Manage patient triage, clinical follow-ups, and support face-to-face and remote clinic workflows.
• Educate patients and families, develop individualized teaching plans, and adapt approaches to readiness and understanding.

• Current RN Licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan
• Minimum of three years of recent (within the past 5 years) clinical pediatric experience as a RN including experience caring for pediatric surgical patients.

• RN experience with Phone Triage in an ambulatory care setting      
• BSN
• Certification in Ambulatory Nursing

Hours/Week: 20 hrs, 0.5 FTE

Days: Day shift. Specific days/hours to be determined upon hire, flexibility in days/shift may be required in the future. Flexibility to support other pediatric clinics may be required. 

Location: C.S. Mott Childrens Hospital, Ambulatory Care Services, Pediatric Craniofacial/Plastics Clinic

Note: All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Michigan Nurses Association and the U-M Professional Nurse Council union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
