Job Summary

 

The LCME Self-Study Project Manager will be the central operational resource responsible for the efficient and compliant execution of the school's 2028 LCME self-study and site visit. Working closely with the Director of Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement, and the Associate Dean for Medical Student Education, this role involves managing timelines, coordinating all accreditation committees, and driving data collection and documentation processes.

 

The Project Manager role is term limited and concludes in June 2028. 

Responsibilities*

 

1. Project & Committee Management 

  • Serve as the primary operational support for the LCME Task Force, including agenda setting, scheduling, and ensuring timely follow-through on all action items. 
  • Maintain and utilize project management software to track the status of all deliverables, document progress, and manage the overall project timeline. 
  • Provide regular progress reports and summaries of committee-identified issues to the LCME Project Management Committee and Medical School leadership. 
  • Participate as a core member of key accreditation and CQI committees, understanding LCME standards and tracking action items through the governance process. 

2. Data, Documentation, and Technology 

  • Coordinate the comprehensive data gathering necessary for the Data Collection Instrument (DCI), collaborating with committee chairs and the LCME Operations Committee. 
  • Fluently analyze and present both quantitative and qualitative data to committees and in the final DCI documentation. 
  • Develop data visualizations and dashboards to monitor compliance and longitudinal data related to LCME elements. 
  • Investigate and implement AI tools to enhance the efficiency of data analysis and document preparation/drafting. 

3. Communications and Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy (e.g., SharePoint management, Town Halls, internal newsletters) in consultation with the Project Management Committee and MSA Marketing and Communications team. 
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on project status and accreditation elements to diverse stakeholder groups, including students, faculty governance bodies, and Department Chairs. 
  • Lead the planning and logistical execution of large-scale accreditation events, including the Self-Study kick-off, Mock Site Visit, and the LCME accreditation site visit (e.g., meeting schedules, travel, and hosting accommodations). 

Required Qualifications*

 
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Higher Education, Health Administration) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in project management, preferably in an academic or healthcare setting.

  3. Demonstrated experience with project management software and tracking complex, long-term deliverables. 

     

  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to audiences from students to senior executive leadership. 

     

  5. Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing deadlines. 

Desired Qualifications*

 
  1. Experience working with accreditation processes (e.g., LCME, ACGME). 

  2. Familiarity with medical school administration, governance, and organizational structure. 

  3. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 

  4. Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis or document drafting. 

  5. Experience using and editing SharePoint for internal communications
