- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to a variety of audiences including students, staff, and campus partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cyclical processes that occur across the academic year, including planning ahead, coordinating multiple timelines simultaneously, and maintaining momentum across recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training.
- Strong project management, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to anticipate needs, proactively develop plans, and adjust strategies as circumstances evolve.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and thrive in a student life office responsible for responding to challenging emergent needs and issues.
- Capacity to interact and work with different constituent groups, including students and staff, while navigating conflict and responding to high-level concerns related to wellbeing among groups.
- Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgement while maintaining alignment with departmental priorities and timelines.
Financial/Budgetary Responsibility:
This position is responsible for a budget up to 10,000 for student staff selection and training purposes.
Working Conditions:
This position requires on-site work.
Some nights and weekends are required.
Physical Requirements:
May need to transport packages of up to fifty pounds to and from various areas in the community. The incumbent is required to frequently travel around campus to engage with campus partners and students.

This role may have reporting obligations under Title IX and Clery.

Selected candidates whose start date is 4/1/2026 or after, will not be eligible for the university FY26-27 salary/merit plan unless otherwise notified.
Salary may vary depending on qualifications, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
