Job Summary

 

The department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) is seeking a neuropsychologist with primary expertise in providing clinical services to adult patients, participating in research and providing post-doctoral neuropsychology training in a rehabilitation setting.  Patients served have diagnoses including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, cancer, and stroke, as well as other injuries and illnesses necessitating post-acute care. The faculty member will provide services to patients at our outpatient rehabilitation neuropsychology clinic in Ann Arbor, and at Michigan Medicine Rehabilitation at Chelsea Hospital, the inpatient rehabilitation program.  Their anticipated weekly schedule will include 4 days (8 sessions) of clinical care, split between the inpatient rehab unit and outpatient neuropsych clinic. 

The candidate must have the excellent clinical skills and knowledge base needed to work independently. Evidence of clinical competence and competence in clinical and didactic teaching is required. We value strong communication skills and place an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.

Required Qualifications*

 

The successful applicants must have earned a doctorate in psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program and internship and completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology. They must be licensed or license-eligible in the State of Michigan and must be boarded or board-eligible in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology.
