- Training in remote asynchronous instruction for experiential learning
- Practice and training on the use of the Sweitzer and King (2014) internship supervision model
- Reading and responding to student work across the duration of their internships, including:
- reflections
- informational interviews
- post-internship module
- Attending group and individual check-in meetings
- Reporting concerning situations to supervisor
- Alerting LDA director to issues of attendance and/or participation

ALA 225 Experiential Learning Course Assistants will gain experience in employing a model for structured experiential learning, giving feedback, career courses in the context of the liberal arts, coaching students toward engagement, and industry knowledge via the wide array of companies and industries students are working in.
