Michigan Medicine Department of Neurology is seeking a clinical instructor for its movement advanced training. Your work plan will focus on the clinical and academic experiences necessary to gain proficiency in the subspecialty of movement disorders neurology. This will consist of a minimum of 5 half-days per week, averaged over the course of your years of training, within the various movement disorders clinics including but not limited to general movement disorders, NPH, ataxia, Wilson's disease, atypical parkinsonian disorders, DBS and botulinum toxin. Unless determined otherwise, each of these experiences will be staffed by an attending neurologist in order to provide appropriate supervision. Additional clinical experiences (such as Speech-Language Pathology, Neuropsychology, Geriatrics, Geriatric Psychiatry, Neurogenetics, Pediatric Movement Disorders and Palliative Care) will be offered and may be included in your 5 half-days, or optionally added by the trainee.
