Responsibilities*

 

This position will support ongoing research projects and assist with data analysis using bioinformatics tools. Duties include performing routine research tasks, such as conducting literature reviews, administering questionnaires and interviews, conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, coding, tabulating results, and assisting with laboratory programming operations.

Required Qualifications*

 

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant research experience), strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, and experience with data collection and analysis, preferably in a laboratory or research setting. A strong background in computer science and a willingness to perform bioinformatics work is mandatory.

This job posting is for a University of Michigan Temporary position.   Temporary employment may be full or part time, but in either case is limited in duration.
