Job Summary

 

Part-time research assistant (RA) needed in Michigan Medicine's Section of Plastic Surgery for a randomized clinical device trial involving breast reconstruction. Under the supervision of the study coordinator, the RA will work directly with attending surgeons, patients and the study sponsor to maintain good clinical practices and reach study milestones through enrollment and participant follow-up. 

Responsibilities*

 

The RA will assist the study coordinator in screening and enrolling subjects, performing medical chart review, communicating with patients about the trial and tracking subjects' study progress and key visit dates. 

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Good coordination skills and attention to detail
  • Flexible availability in order to reach patients when needed
  • Reliable transportation

Desired Qualifications*

 

Master of Public Health (MPH) candidate with prior experience in a health research related field or other related graduate program.

Work Schedule

 

Approximately 5-8 hours weekly, schedule to be determined after hiring.

Background Screening
