The research laboratory of Dr. Anthony Rosenzweig in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an experienced mouse surgeon to perform advanced microsurgical procedures for preclinical research. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain complex disease models, including Transverse Aortic Constriction (TAC), Myocardial Infarction (MI), Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury (IRI), Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion (MCAO), and other stroke or cardiovascular models. The successful candidate will become a critical contributor and collaborator on translational studies uncovering the shared mechanisms driving health and disease in the heart and brain.
