Social workers are critical and essential to all phases of transplant care. This position is part of multiple dynamic medical and social work teams to assess, counsel, and provide education and psychosocial interventions to transplant patients and their support networks through all phases of transplant care. This position will have primary assignment to the Adult Lung Transplant Program, which includes inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, and will also be trained to provide support in all adult solid organ areas.
Social workers are also critical to the Transplant Center?s Mission, Vision, and Values ? which also affords staff various opportunities. This candidate will also have the benefit of working on a highly skilled and dedicated Transplant Social Work team.
