The Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology is seeking applications for a 66.67% LEO Lecturer I position teaching MCDB 310, Introductory Biochemistry. The appointment is for Summer Half Term 2026 only (June 30 - August 20, 2026).

The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field and be knowledgeable in the topics covered in the course MCDB 310 "Introductory Biochemistry" offered by the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan.  

Qualified candidates should be fluent in the area of expertise and exhibit evidence of excellent teaching skills.

The appointment opportunity has been approved by the academic unit, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. 

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
