What You'll Do

 

Reporting directly to the ACT Supervisor, the Senior Administrative Coordinator provides a broad range of administrative and event support services to staff in the program and centers' offices within Ross. Each Administrative Core Team (ACT) staff member generally supports two to four units, depending on size and need.

Responsibilities*

 
  • Complete routine and complex financial transactions in compliance with the University and Ross policies, including purchasing, payments, reimbursements, deposits, and travel-related
    expenses, and other financial processing tasks.
  • Serve as the Single Administrative Point of Contact (SAPOC) for supported units to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate logistics for school-wide and unit events, including room reservations, food orders, guest registration, visitor travel and schedules, vendor communication, and preparation of event materials such as flyers, gifts, and printed collateral.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise student temporary staff, ensuring the front desk coverage, workflow continuity, and adherence to professional communication and administrative standards
  • Support staff onboarding and offboarding processes by coordinating workspace setup, system access, logistics, and cross-departmental communication while tracking progress through formal school procedures

Required Qualifications*

 
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 4 years of administrative support experience (academic setting preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High proficiency with Microsoft and Google suites
  • Experience overseeing and prioritizing the work of others

Additional Information

 

The posting range for this position is $50,300 to $59,000. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
