Job Summary

 

CIT is seeking a student worker to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include data entry, assisting with projects, event planning, and providing administrative support to CIT Student Services. 

Responsibilities*

 
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry tasks using various software applications.
  • Assist is the planning and implementation of CIT student events for current students. 
  • Provide general front desk help for the CIT Academic Services Suite.
  • Handle FERPA protected information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of CIT Student Services.
     

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Currently enrolled as a CIT student within the University of Michigan - Flint who is in good academic standing  with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Available to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week within the CIT Student Services Center for the duration of the position.
  • Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
     

Desired Qualifications*

 
  • Proficient in Google Suite. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
     

Modes of Work

 

Onsite
The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence.  Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan
