Job Summary

A position as a research technician is immediately available to study the role of epithelial cells during lung injury and fibrosis. Fibrosis is a devastating and poorly understood set of diseases without good therapy due to a lack of understanding into the mechanism of disease. We utilize a comprehensive approach including transgenic mouse models, primary human cell culture and a number of cell and molecular approaches to discover novel mechanisms involved during lung injury and fibrosis. Excellent opportunity to use as a stepping stone to a more advanced degree or as a continuation in a career as research technician.
