The Sociology Department in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts is excited to announce an opening for a highly skilled Executive Assistant. The Sociology Department is one of the top Sociology departments in the world, and the Executive Assistant serves as a significant member of the Sociology Chair's administrative team. This role has two main components: 1) Provide high-level support to the Chair, Executive Committee, and Chief Administrator, and 2) Serve as a lead coordinator for the department's largest and most important initiatives.

This position reports to the Chief Administrator, Elizabeth Jahn, and receives a significant portion of their day-to-day work from the Department Chair, Elizabeth A. Armstrong.
