Job Summary

This full-time Administrative Assistant Intermediate position will provide administrative support to the Flint Public Health & Health Sciences Department's Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice Entry-Level Program (DNAP). This position reports directly to the Program Director.

Responsibilities*

Departmental/Program Support

Assist in developing program policies, preparing correspondence and reports, supporting technology needs, scheduling meetings and events, processing financial transactions, and maintaining office supplies and educational materials. Additional tasks include handing IT and facilities requests, distributing surveys, supporting accreditation efforts, organizing applicant files, and coordinating classroom and equipment scheduling.

Faculty Support

Schedule faculty appointments and meetings, maintain student profiles, support course material preparation, oversee student evaluation files, coordinate semester reviews, and support faculty search committees.

Student Support

Oversee the logging and filing of student clinical evaluations and care plans, act as administrative contact for student research teams, monitor related expenditures, audit student records, and coordinate with external vendors that support student learning.

Required Qualifications*

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of administrative support experience

Modes of Work

Hybrid

The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence. On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements.
