Work on parametric human body modeling, including statistical human geometry model integration, mesh mapping, and morphing techniques to change the geometry of finite element (FE) human body models to represent populations with a wide range of size and shape. Set up FE vehicle crash simulations with parametric human body models, simulation pre- and post-processing, and data analysis. Develop engineering components of research projects, including finite element modeling and crash simulations, design of experiment (DoE) for parametric analysis, Matlab coding, crash testing, and design optimizations. Prepare journal articles, technical reports, and conference papers. Participate at conferences and technical meetings. Hybrid work from home permitted.
