The Department of Biological Chemistry at the University of Michigan Medical School invites applications for tenure-track at the Assistant Professor level. We seek outstanding colleagues whose research defines and addresses cutting-edge questions in any area of biochemistry to join our inclusive and richly collaborative community that prioritizes both transformative science and training the next generation of scientific leaders.

Successful candidates will be part of a vibrant interdisciplinary environment with interests that span a wide range of fundamental questions and molecular, cellular, and organismal systems. Qualifications include a Ph.D. and/or M.D., a strong record of research accomplishments, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion in the biomedical sciences. Applicants for Associate and Full Professor should have a history of exceptional independent research, funding, and contributions to the scientific community. Background Screening
