Job Summary

 

The department of Neurology is seeking a temporary EEG tech to assist with recording of routine and beside EEGs and Long-Term Epilepsy monitoring.

The successful candidate will records studies of adult patients with a wide range of illnesses.

Required Qualifications*

 

Electroencephalograph Technologist Registered  (Certified)

  • Reasonable experience as an EEG Technician is necessary.
  • High school graduation with basic science coursework or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Registration by the American Board of Registration for Electroencephalographic Technologist, and/or Polysomnography registration.

Electroencephalograph Technologist Non-Registered 

  • High school graduation with basic science course work or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
  • Eligibility or certification by the American Board of Registration for Electroencephalographic Technologist is necessary.

Upon hire, non-certified EEG Technologists must begin taking courses towards EEG certification and/or identify a path towards their EEG Registered Technologist credential.

Desired Qualifications*

 
  • ABRET certification in EEG is desired.

Work Schedule

 

This is a temporary position up to 40 hours per week. Schedule and hours will vary.

Modes of Work

Background Screening
