Job Summary

 

The Developer (Temp) is responsible for supporting the integration of Acuity (scheduling system) and the Michigan Customer Portal (MCP) (built on Microsoft Dynamics 365) at Michigan Language Assessment. 

Responsibilities*

 
  • Facilitate the integration of Acuity (scheduling system) and the Michigan Customer Portal (MCP).
  • Complete the API integration with Acuity to populate identified data and integrate with the Michigan Customer Portal (built on Microsoft Dynamics 365) to facilitate the user journey for scheduling an exam. 
  • Create a web page to be integrated into MLA WordPress web site.
  • Provide other support to the Information Technology team as needed.
     

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology field or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of software development experience in a higher education environment
  • Experience developing software that interacts with APIs. 
  • Experience deploying solutions in a cloud environment. 
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Managing multiple projects

  • Familiar with University of Michigan policies and procedures
  • Experience with Acuity
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
     

Work Locations

 

This position may be eligible for remote and/or flexible work opportunities at the discretion of the hiring department.  Flexible work agreements are reviewed annually and are subject to change dependent on the business needs of the hiring department, throughout the course of employment.

Michigan Language Assessment is supporting remote work for this temporary position.

It is preferred that the successful candidate use their own technology.
