TITLE:   Patient Care Technician (TEMP)

SHIFT:  Days / Evenings

TIME:  7:00 am - 3:30 pm   and/or   3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Under general supervision from a Registered Nurse or other designated official, provide moderate to complex assistance to pediatric patients.

• Perform ADLs
• Trach suctioning and urinary catheter
• Monitor patient status, record and document vital signs, Is & Os, blood sugars, and reporting any outside parameters to nurses.
• Stock and maintain inventory of specialized areas.
• Transport patients to and from designated locations.
• Assist with admitting and discharge procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Graduation from high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical requirements: This position requires moderate standing/walking, as well as lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring of patients. 

• Reasonable knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in patient care activities.
• CNA certificate.
• Experience in patient-facing work
• Pediatric patient experience
