Job Summary

 

The Department of Information & Operations Management in the College of Business at the University of Michigan-Dearborn has THREE openings for a Lecturer I to teach at least one or more of the following:

ONE section of ISM 301 (Mon/Wed 12:30pm-1:45pm) for the Winter 2026 semester.  
ONE section of ISM 351 (Mon/Wed 11am-12:15pm) for the Winter 2026 semester.
ONE section of ISM 641 (Thur 6pm-8:45pm) for the Winter 2026 semester.
 
The College welcomes applicants interested in just the Winter semester or in the full academic year, and those interested in just one, two, or all 3 of the above sections.

Required Qualifications*

 

Prospective candidates should minimally possess a graduate degree in a relevant discipline. Relevant work and teaching experience is desirable. Strong communication skills are needed.  Preference will be given to those with strong professional experience in Information Systems Management and those with a history of teaching excellence in this discipline.

Modes of Work

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
